A&D Sales Representative

The Architecture & Design Sales Representative will be responsible for growing awareness of Bialek and its capabilities amongst the mid-Atlantic A&D communities. This person will be expected to influence the criteria used by A&D firms for the selection of products for project opportunities. They will work with a team to assist with strategic and tactical issues, and to provide a leadership role on all major new business initiatives as it relates to A&D.

• A proven ability to drive the basis of design
• Product knowledge and a willingness to learn our primary product
• Experienced at the consultative sales process
• Expert networking skills
• Current memberships in organizations such as IIDA
• Strong relationships with the A&D, General Contractor and Broker
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Must be skilled in managing all aspects of business utilizing
effective time management techniques
• Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere ensuring
efficiency of projects from start to finish
• Able to read and understand floor plans and other related
technical drawings
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong listening skills both in person and via telephone
• Possesses good understanding and application of business math
• Ability to deal with highly complex sales issues
• Must be persistent, responsive, flexible, fun, intelligent,
competitive, proactive and confident
• Experience selling contract furniture and/or related services a
• BS/BA Degree required
