Via five discretionary investment funds, RSE Capital Partners sources and manages the real estate investments for the Fundrise platform. 
RSE has an immediate opening in the DC office for a full-time Associate. Candidates for this position must have at least two years of experience working in commercial real estate.
A successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

Acquisitions
• Source and originate deals ranging from commercial to residential
• Underwrite transactions:
o develop project pro-formas,
o assess market/submarket trends, comps, etc.
o Evaluate sponsor track record and reputation
• Draft Investment Committee memos
• Assist with due diligence and closing processes

Asset Management
• Review regular reporting
• Maintain pro-formas
• Conduct hold-sale analysis
• Calculate quarterly NAVs
• Assist with preparation of updated business plans
• Assist with loan pay-offs (debt investments) and dispositions (equity investments)

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree
• One to three years of experience working in commercial real estate
• Strong understanding of real estate investment principles, a working understanding of real estate pro-formas and valuation methods, and strong Excel modeling skills. Knowledge of Argus is a plus
• Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
• Outstanding organizational skills; ability to leverage and improve systems to manage a high volume of transactions
• Must be self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
• Intellectually curious, creative, and collaborative
