The Marketing/Leasing Associate is responsible for promoting the successful leasing of space by carrying out a range of functions inherent to tenant attraction and retention. This requires taking the lead in the design process for producing company multimedia, proposal and marketing communications for existing properties and new business developments. In addition, the Marketing/Leasing Associate provides marketing and administrative support to one or more leasing representatives and senior leasing executives (the Leasing Team), as applicable.


• Lead the Brandywine Met/DC team in coordination with the Corporate Marketing Department on all office and mixed-use marketing needs to build compelling high-quality campaigns and collateral materials.
• Create and maintain records on available Brandywine Realty Trust space. Provide timely, accurate information to the Leasing Team as needed, including updating records on rights of first refusal, rights of first opportunity, signage and termination rights for the entire portfolio.
• Create eblasts, brochures, flyers, and promotional collateral in coordination with the Corporate Marketing Department to inform prospective tenants about Brandywine Realty Trust space.
• Create, plan and implement broker programs and assist with presentations for broker outreach events and incentive programs.
• Take lead as Brandywine’s marketing contact for new business ventures (JV relationships relating to marketing) and proactively present material, both visually and in a speaking context.
• Serve as the main contact for all marketing related matters with The Washington Business Journal, Bisnow, CoStar, NAIOP, CREBA, etc.
• Maintain the region’s Marketing Budget and Calendar; track progress and status of contracts, and invoice approval.
• Develop and maintain content for Brandywine’s office video wall in both the DC and VA offices.
• Maintain Brandywine contact and commercial real estate research databases.
• Maintain Broker address databases for the purpose of special promotional mailings.
• Expand and manage photography library, collateral and gift supply inventory.
• Initiate and maintain relationships with design and production vendors and Corporate Marketing Department personnel.
• Create, update and maintain aerial and digital maps.
• Update and maintain portfolio stacking plans.
• Manage Met/DC’s social media platform submissions to Brandywine Corporate for inclusion in the company’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

• Assist Leasing Team with deals in progress.
• Preparation of materials for tours and presentations.
• Assist Leasing Team in presentations, as needed.
• Assist Leasing Team in conducting leasing tours, as needed.


Technical job experience in the following areas:
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe Illustrator, preferred
• Adobe Photoshop, preferred

• Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
• This position requires focused attention to detail with ever changing priorities, multi-tasking and managing tight deadlines.


• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in marketing or related field from four-year college or university; and a minimum 2+ years’ experience in a real estate environment, creative agency, and/or marketing firm.
