Job Description: 

Savills Studley is seeking a Senior Research Analyst for the Washington, DC region, located in its Tysons Corner office. The Senior Research Analyst will be responsible for high-level research support for the Washington, DC & Baltimore regional offices by providing commercial real estate market data and analysis for business development, client service, and internal purposes.

The Senior Research Analyst will report to the Washington, DC regional Research Director. This is an ideal opportunity for a real estate research professional with several years’ experience and a keen understanding of the Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland and Baltimore office markets seeking to work in a best-in-class organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proactively develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the Washington, DC area real estate
market
• Provide brokers and teams with data, information, and insights on market activity, conditions and
trends to maintain competitive advantage through market expertise and analysis
• Work with brokerage, marketing, and graphics teams to best position research to contribute to
business development and client service efforts
• Develop and leverage relationships with research peers and experts in the local real estate
community in order to exchange information and keep abreast of relevant industry developments
• Provide regular updates to and maintenance of proprietary market information databases including
building and owner information, lease comparables, tenants in the market, and other key data points
• Respond to all internal and external clients’ requests for data and information in a timely and
accurate manner
• Working with HQ Research and regional Director, contribute to the quarterly market statistics
process including data collection, verification, analysis and writing
• Attend all relevant team meetings and actively contribute to local and national research insights
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Research Director and brokerage teams

Experience/Education/Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of related real estate and/or research and analysis experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Strong mathematical, analytic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Ability to interact well with clients and peers
• Accomplished with Microsoft Office suite, internet research, and various other types of analytical
and presentation software; ability to learn new programs quickly a plus
• Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
