CREW National Capital Committee

The CREW National Capital Committee (CNCC) was founded in 2006 by a CREW Metro Area Task Force to bring local CREW chapters together with the common goal to transform commercial real estate by advancing the achievements of all women.  The Task Force decided to coordinate certain collective activities through a joint committee known as the CNCC. Chapter Leaders participate in this communication and coordination working group.  The needs and expectations of the four CNCC chapters and collective members evolves over the years, and CNCC evolves its scope and goals along with it.

THE COMMITTEE’S PURPOSE

DC, Baltimore, Maryland Suburban and Northern Virginia CREW chapters work together to increase the visibility of our individual chapters and members, and raise the profile of CREW in the National Capital area. This increases the real and perceived value of CREW for our members, sponsors, and in the industry at large. Our goal is to create a wider community of women professionals supporting one another as they advance in the industry. CNCC focuses on collaboration and transparency. CNCC committee members are appointed by their chapter board. The “Chair Chapter” rotates annually, and a member from that chapter is the CNCC committee chair. Each chapter's Board of Directors reviews a memorandum of understanding, which establishes and commits to common goals.

All CNCC chapters agree that collaboration and networking provided by joint events are worthy and important benefits to the members of each of the National Capital CREW chapters.
