CREW DC Welcomes Candy Chang: Energizing Communities Through Artistic Intervention

November 30, 2017

Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) DC invites both members and non-members to its January 17, 2018 luncheon program featuring renowned artist and pioneer in participatory public art, Candy Chang. A world-renowned artist and urban designer, Candy Chang will share her latest creative vision. Her highly acclaimed “Before I Die” wall taught us to embrace the creative vision by engaging communities to share everything from their greatest hopes to their deepest anxieties in public. In her latest captivating and intimate talk, she demystifies the creative process, inspires personal reflection and provokes new ideas for community and well-being. It's a fun look at the colorful range of diverse participatory expression, including non-artists creating art as well as public spaces and projects that reimagine and redesign cities, parks and homes.

This lunch program is open to members and non-members and will be held on Wednesday, January 17 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at The Capital Hilton Hotel, 1001 16th Street, NW in Washington, DC.
