The Federal District

How DC Weathers the Political Winds of Washington

With recent wins like Amazon HQ2, many in Washington would like to believe that we are more than a Federal government town. While other sectors are growing, the most recent record-breaking government shutdown served as a painful reminder of the critical connection between the region's economic health and the Federal government's decisions. With the uncertainty generated by continuing resolutions, BRAC, continual realignment of major federal departments, and the political wrangling that slows decision making and implementation to a virtual stop - it's clear how much our region's fate is tied to the government's whims.

Join us as this dynamic panel of experts explores our most critical areas of weakness and what we can do to protect ourselves and our clients as the political winds continue to blow in our government town.
