Leading with Learning
A Race and Equity Reading Circle

Date May 18, 2021
Location Zoom
Time 9:15 - 11:15 AM
PM session on 6/11

Please join CREW DC for the fourth book in our Leading with Learning program. We continue the series with “How to Be Less Stupid About Race” by Crystal M. Fleming

Sociologist Fleming discusses critical race theory, contemporary society, and intersectionality - all with a sense of humor, relatable anecdotes, and a bias towards action. She helps us to understand race and racism in America and gives us tools to move towards intentional anti-racism. We build upon our reading of her book with facilitated conversations designed to deepen our understanding of the issues and give courage for action in our personal and professional lives.
