Women of Influence

CREW DC members that meet certain criteria based on leadership, business achievements and tenure are eligible to be included in Women of Influence events. These smaller, more intimate programs provide opportunities for our more senior-level women to network together. Open to members meeting ANY of the following criteria:

  • CREW member for 10 years or more (any chapter)
  • Working within the commercial real estate industry for 20 years or more
  • Past CREW DC president or board member
  • Primary owner of a commercial real estate related business
  • Currently serving in the C-suite of a commercial real estate related business

35 & Under

CREW DC members under 35 are invited to special events and happy hours to encourage networking within our younger group of professionals. In order to qualify, your birthdate must be specified on your membership application or CREWBiz profile (not shown publicly).

Membership Requirements for Admission

Membership Types

Active – Employed in the field of Commercial Real Estate for at least five years.

Associate – Employed in the field of Commercial Real Estate for fewer than five years. Number of associate memberships available is limited.

Student - A student in an accredited degree program leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree in Commercial Real Estate or a related area (i.e., architecture, urban planning, business, finance, etc.).

Public Sector – Active member who shall be employed full-time in any federal, state or local government capacity or in an economic development entity reasonably recognized by the Board of Directors. Such Public Sector Member shall have all of the privileges and rights of Active Members.

Retired – Active member of the Association or another CREW chapter for a period of at least two years prior to such member's retirement from fulltime or part-time employment, and shall have been actively employed in the field of Commercial Real Estate for at least five years.

Annual Dues

Annual Membership Dues cover the 12-month period from January 1 - December 31. New members admitted after July will be billed on a half-year basis (excluding students).

Active Membership Dues (5 or more yrs CRE experiene) - $495 ($265 After July 1)

Associate Membership Dues (fewer than 5 yrs CRE Experience) - $345 ($225 After July 1)

Student Membership Dues (undergraduate) - $50

Student Membership Dues (graduate) - $90

Public Sector Membership Dues - $135

Retired Membership Dues - $276

In addition, there is a non-refundable $25.00 application fee for prospective members. This application fee does not apply to transfers from other CREW chapters.

Renewals

For existing members (excluding student members), click here to log in to CREWBiz (click “retrieve password” if you don’t remember your password) and either renew online with a credit card or print your invoice to mail in with a check. Please contact CREW Network with any questions at 785-832-1808 or membershipinfo@crewnetwork.org. Student membership must reapply annually in order for CREW DC to verify student status. Membership expires on December 31st of the current year. If dues payment is not made by February 14th, benefits of membership (i.e., program attendance at member rate and inclusion in the CREW Network directory) will not be available. Annual Membership Dues and the non-refundable application fee are due upon submission of the application. If a prospective member is not approved for membership the dues payment will be returned. If you believe you qualify for the Member Emeritus or Retired member classes please contact the Membership Chair. Current CREW members from other chapters who would like to transfer to the Washington, DC chapter should contact the Membership Chair to discuss the specifics of their request.
